Como muchos sabréis hoy se celebra el Día de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama y para demostrar nuestro apoyo a todas las víctimas que están padeciendo esta enfermedad, a todas las luchadoras que pudieron con la batalla y a todos los seres queridos que se perdieron por el camino qué mejor que dar un toque de rosa a nuestro outfit. Por ello, hoy las calles de todo el país se convierten en una marea rosa. Aquí os dejo algunas ideas para incorporar este color tan alegre a nuestros looks más estilosos. ¿Te apuntas?

As many of you know today is the day of the fight against breast cancer and to show our support to all the victims who are suffering from this disease, to all fighters who were able to battle and all the loved ones that are gone, what better way than adding a touch of pink to our outfit. Today the streets across the country become a tide rose. Here you have some ideas to include this colour to your most stylish looks. Wanna join?

INSPIRATION: Back to basics: La cazadora de cuero

Puede que no sea la prenda de abrigo más cálida, y que no tenga nada que hacer con los abrigos amplios de esta temporada que se suben a la pasarela y llenan la calle, pero por más que pase el tiempo las cazadoras de cuero siguen siendo una de las prendas que más molan en cualquier armario y por fín llega el momento de lucirlas. 

Lo que más me gusta de la perfecto es su capacidad de adaptación al look que más te guste, puede que sea una de las prendas más versátiles de la historia. Encaja con casi cualquier cosa, desde mini vestidos y delicadas faldas hasta tachuelas y tejidos denim, y su poder reside exactamente ahí, en su capacidad para convertir cualquier prenda en un hallazgo actual y con actitud. Acepta las interpretaciones más dispares, pero la reina sigue siendo la clásica: la negra con cremalleras metálicas, trabillas en los hombros y solapa doble. It may not be the warmest item and it has nothing to do with the oversize coats we haven seen in the fashion shows and in the street. However, the leather jackets will always be one of the coolest item in any wardrobe and at last it's time to take them out to the street.

What I like the most about the biker jackets is their ability to adapt to any look, it probably is one of the most versatile items ever.  You can wear it with almost anything from mini skirts to dresses and delicate skirts, to denim and studds. Its power lies exactly there, in the ability to turn any outfit into a current finding with attitude.  However, although now we can find many different options, the queen is still the classic one: black with metal zippers, shoulder epaulettes and double flap.

Tendencias A/W 13: Los cuadros también se apoderan de los abrigos esta temporada ¿Te atreves?

Si el otro día os comentaba que los abrigos color pastel  eran un must a tener en cuenta para esta temporada Otoño-Invierno 2013/2014, hoy quiero compartir una nueva tendencia. Ya todos sabemos que los cuadros están invadiendo las calles y las tiendas, pero ahora el tartán se une también a las prendas de abrigo. Así que si los colores pasteles no van mucho con tu estilo y quieres romper con lo de siempre o comprarte algo distinto esta temporada, quizás estas propuestas te interesan. 

Estilo tartán, en blanco y negro, combinando distintos materiales, hay para todos los gustos, tipos, cuerpos y personalidades. Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros sólo una muestra de lo que está por venir. 

The other day I already mentioned that one of the trends for this new  season are candy coats.  Well,  as many of you know tartan is back and this major Scottish invasion we are experiencing it´s now also for our coats this winter. So if candy colours are not for you or this year you want to try something new and stop "business as usual" this is the perfect item for you to wear.

Having always been a wintery pattern, this year tartan is everywhere and whether you’re a fan of prim and proper or a more grungy, laid back look, there will be something out there for you to channel this particular trend. Here's is my edit of the best pieces to shop this season.

Las Semanas de la Moda sirven mucho más que para conocer las tendencias de las próximas temporadas, las colecciones de los diseñadores, el street style más extravagante y loco, o inspiraciones para nuestro día a día. También nos sirven para conocer nuevos rostros y obsesionarse con ellos, y este año lo he hecho de la mano de Chiara Totire. Una italiana que se ha convertido en la nueva it girl por excelencia, con un estilazo único y original, y ese no sé qué que la hace destacar por encima de las demás. Hoy en este post de Style Icon repasamos su estilo. Como podéis ver sus outfits suelen componerse por prendas básicas combinadas con mucho gusto. Chaquetas de cuero, baggy pants, sudaderas, crop tops, sandalias metalizadas, abrigos oversize, gorritos de lana, jeans en todas sus versiones y estampados a la última. ¡Espero que os guste!

The Fashion Weeks are useful, not only to know next season´s trends, the designer collections, the most crazy and extravagant street style or inspirations for our daily looks, they also help us to meet and get to know new faces in this fashion world. That has happened this year with Chiara Totire, an Italian that has become a new it girl, with a fantastic style and something special that I don´t know what it is but that it makes her stand above the rest. As you can see, her outfits usually consist of basic items combined magnificent taste.
